i twisted my ankle on Monday and haven't been able to rest it till now. i'm icing it now with duck and fish shaped ice cubes, so cute, on a pillow. had to call into work cause walking 2 blocks to get to my first bus stop isn't gonna work today at all. Hopefully the pain will stop soon and not keep moving up my leg anymore.

shit happened to me
So I was suppose to have surgery tomorrow, but I was kicked out of the place I was staying. Due to getting kicked out my mom came half way across the country to get me and my dog and bring us back up to where she is living. All of my appointments with all of my doctors now have to be canceled. Need two surgeries but those now have to wait for me to get medical insurance again in this state. All in all I got screwed over royalty by people who were suppose to be my friends. I don't even really know why I was kicked out either, they just threw most of my stuff into trash bags and put them on the side of the street they made me wait at.
Best thing I've read in a long time
So I just read the Labyrinth novel, and I love it almost as much as the movie. It is lovely and much more action packed than the movie, but it doesn't have David Bowie (unless you just imagine him as Jareth lol). I was also listening to soundtrack to the movie while reading the novel. So my dog's hunting instincts have kicked in. Since staying with some friends she has killed 2 rats and a bird. She ate most of the bird, except the feathers and skeleton. Who needs pest control when I have my Tala on the job. :3
Death...
There's a little bird outside in the backyard. It was sitting in my dog's food bowl, so I went out to see why and see if it would fly away. It didn't fly away at all, just sat there and looked at me. I stroked it back and tried to get it to fly away, it just sat there so I picked it up and put it on a tall box. It was just laying there looking at me, then it tried to fly but fell to the ground. It didn't move but is still breathing. I can't save the poor thing, there's nothing I can do. I'm sorry little bird, I'm so sorry. TT.TT
